Welcome to A.M.U. Old Boys Sahakari Avas Samiti Ltd.

The AMU OLD BOYS SAHKARI AWAS SAMITI (AMUOBSAS) was established on 1st January 1997 with the basic aim of providing better housing facilities to its members and other alumni of The AMU in Delhi-NCR. From its inception, it has been assiduously trying to acquire land or built-up properties in the region, first with the government and later on with the private builders. Due to our persistent efforts, finally the breakthrough came in 2010 when AMUOBSAS succeeded in getting 4 towers consisting 320 flats in Greater Noida West with Supertech Limited , which were allotted through due process to its members at concessional corporate price. The towers are under construction now and expected to be handed over soon to the allottees. The demand for this housing scheme was encouragingly so overwhelming that a number of requests from desiring members could not be accommodated. And thus, due to persistent demand of AMU alumni, the AMUOBSAS has since been looking for a similar kind of housing in NCR area.

The AMU OLD BOYS SAHKARI AWAS SAMITI (AMUOBSAS) was primarily formed to provide decent, neat, affordable housing to the alumni of Aligarh Muslim University. The proposed housing is being developed keeping in view a high degree of safety and security of the residents and also where the residents and their families would be able to maintain their intellectual, cultural and religious exclusivity. Beside other infrastructure facilities, a prayer hall (for namaaz) on the ground floor of the tower is also planned for the convenience of the residents.

We are happy that after a long search and protracted negotiations with builders, the AMUOBSAS is in a position to announce the allotment of 200 flats along with 3000 sq. ft. of hall for namaaz in the proposed project of Antariksh Builders who are the original allottee of 15 acres of land in Greater Noida West / Noida Extension , plot no.15 , Sector 1. The land has been registered, layout plans sanctioned and the construction of building has begun. The first phase of construction is going to be of Ground + 14 Floors. Now we are doing this project not only for our AMU Alumni but we also plan to accommodate educated and like-minded Muslims.

Our Vision

The Noida Extension has plans to develop a complex of 2,50,000 houses with IT parks, schools, colleges, hospitals, shopping malls, sports city, golf course and all other allied modern facilities. Moreover we expect a similar growth in demand and prices in property acquisition in the proposed housing project as seen earlier in the case of Noida.
